-An intrapreneur is a person who creates or discovers new ideas and opportunities that create a secure and self-financing organization within an existing company. Intrapreneurs practice the entrepreneurship concepts within the firm. Intrapreneurs actively spend their some amount of their time on innovative ideas that are not related to their regular work within the company. Successful intrapreneurs with entrepreneurship spirit who are not afraid to make decisions on their own and take risks, will highly contribute to company’s innovation moves and future development plans.

There are important characteristics of Intrapreneurs that create great and positive impact within their organization and distinguish intrapreneurs from mere employees. Such as, passion, courage, network and open-minded etc.

-Intrapreneurs are the key assets to company’s long-term growth and developing new products or ideas to be able to fight in the market for the organizations that they are already working with. They are not focused on monetary benefits of being intrapreneur but they do because of they feel good and they constantly keep themselves in the developing and learning circle. Intrapreneurs are key factors to company’s long-term financial growth. Their creativity can enable company’s position in their market, stronger and better than other competitors.
